Jörg von Dzerzawa — Full-stack engineer & front-end lead

Humanities-driven empathy meets technical rigor. I build scalable front-ends in TypeScript and own the design-to-engineering handoff — so what ships matches what was designed, in every market.

01 — Who

The bridge between people & pixels.

I came to engineering the long way round — from a liberal-arts education to 800 hours at a coding bootcamp to leading front-end for one of the DCX teams at one of the world's biggest car brands. That detour is the point: I read the room as carefully as I read the spec.

Design Tokens Pipeline

A token pipeline that automates the Figma-to-code handoff. One change propagates to all 53 countries from a single source of truth — no manual re-skinning, no drift between design and build.

Reusable UI Pattern Library

A library of accessible, composable UI patterns the whole team builds from. Pages that used to be one-off builds now assemble from tested parts.

Accessibility Program

Made WCAG 2.x AA the default, not an afterthought — accessibility built into code reviews, shared patterns and the team's definition of done, so new work ships compliant.

The journey

From a humanities lecture hall to leading front-end within a DCX team at Toyota — every step kept the human in the loop.

Toyota Motor Europe via Capgemini

Front-end Lead · AEM Consultant

Where individual-contributor work became leadership. I own the front-end for Toyota's DCX touchpoints across 28 markets — the flagship builds are in Selected Work above; this chapter is about scope and the team.

  • Set the front-end standards and run code reviews
  • Mentor engineers across the team
  • Translate technical constraints into language stakeholders can act on

Full-stack Engineer · AEM Consultant

My first chapter at Toyota: learning the DCX platform end to end and shipping features on sprint cadence — the grounding the lead role was built on.

  • Shipped user stories on sprint cadence
  • Paired with QA to detail and fix bugs

BubblyDoo

Full-stack Intern

First time owning a design system in production — where I learned that component architecture is a product decision, not just a technical one. The build itself is in Selected Work above.

  • A first production design system, end to end
  • Design ↔ engineering on a small, fast team
